The 54-year-old iconic actress Sridevi’s sudden death on 24th February has left millions of fans in shock. She was reportedly found unconscious in a bathtub inside her room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai after attending the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah. However, the story didn’t end up there. There were several assumptions made by people who found her untimely death really uncertain. Reports suggested that after attending Mohit Marwah’s wedding the actress had stayed back in Dubai, while the rest of the family returned to India. Boney Kapoor, who had left Dubai for Mumbai, returned on Saturday evening to surprise his wife. The couple was to go out for dinner and Sridevi stepped into the bathroom to get ready for the same. When she didn’t come out for some time, her husband knocked, then forced open the door and found her wife lying motionless in a bathtub full of water.He tried to revive her and when he could not, he called a friend of his. After that, he informed the police at 9 pm.

Originally, it was reported on Saturday that the actor might have died from cardiac arrest. But a day later, her brother Sanjay Kapoor told Times of India that Sridevi had no history of a heart condition. “We are completely shocked,” he said.

When Kapoor’s autopsy was released on Monday, Dubai-based newspaper, Gulf News reported that she was under the influence of alcohol when she lost balance and fell into the bathtub and drowned. It was revealed that she actually died from accidental drowning in the bathtub of her room at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. However, fans of Sridevi Kapoor aren’t convinced the Bollywood superstar died from an accidental drowning.

Another report cast doubt on the “cordial” relationship Sridevi had with her stepson Arjun Kapoor, who was also in town for the wedding. There is also confusion about whether the actress’s body was found by hotel staff or her husband.

Movie industry insiders and politicians have also weighed in on the tragedy, adding to the confusion. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the northeastern Indian state of Nagaland even suggested a dark political motive behind the actress’s death, implicating the highest echelons of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government

Indian choreographer Saroj Khan asked simply: “How can bathtub drown her?” while actor and talk show host Simi Garewal sparked drug rumors after pointed out “uncanny similarities” between the deaths of Sridevi and US pop-star Whitney Houston.

Does Boney Kapoor have dirty hands behind SriDevi’s death?

It is being said that Boney Kapoor has a dirty hand behind it and he has got the case settled. However, Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor was ‘inconsolable’ after discovering his wife motionless in a hotel bathtub. According to the Times of India, Adnan Siddiqui – Sridevi’s co-star in her last film Mom – comforted Boney at the Jumeirah Emirates Tower after the tragedy. According to the Khaleeji Times, Boney provided his testimony to police on Sunday morning and was not contacted by the police for further interrogation.
