Rhea’s Risky Ride: Actor Spotted Without Helmet on Nikhil Kamath’s Bike

Former Bollywood actress and video jockey Rhea Chakraborty spent her weekend with her rumored boyfriend, entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath, co-founder of Zerodha. They were seen together in Mumbai on Saturday, with photos and videos posted online. Rhea rode on the back of Nikhil’s bike, wearing a rust top, denim jacket, purple pants, a bag, and sandals. She had a mask on and her hair in a ponytail, but no helmet.

Nikhil Kamath was spotted wearing a black jacket and shorts, complemented by a face mask and helmet, as he rode the bike with Rhea Chakraborty. The two appeared to be engaged in conversation during the ride. However, their safety gear sparked a debate among viewers. Some questioned why Rhea wasn’t wearing a helmet, with comments like “Helmet? Any special rule for her?” and “Pillion rider doesn’t require a helmet?” Another user chimed in, “Just because it is Rhea, no helmet needed?” – suggesting that the actor may have been given special treatment.

“Everybody knows my ‘chapter one’, or assumes that they know it. I did go through a lot of phases of feeling different emotions, being different versions of myself. Finally, I am feeling more me, but a newer version, like a rebirth. And I want to celebrate that with anyone who has a ‘chapter two’. I want to say that it is ok to have a chapter two, to start again, to move on in life. I want to celebrate change.” Rhea said in her podcast debut with Chapter 2 in it, last month.

Rhea’s controversial history

Tragedy struck on June 14, 2020, when Rhea’s boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. Initially, the Mumbai police filed an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and launched an investigation. However, in a dramatic turn of events, Sushant’s father lodged a complaint with the Bihar police in July 2020, accusing Rhea Chakraborty and her family of abetting his son’s suicide, thereby shifting the focus of the investigation.

Following the tragic death of Sushant, Rhea Chakraborty faced intense media attention and legal challenges. She was taken into custody in September 2020 in connection with a drugs-related case linked to Sushant’s passing but was released on bail in October 2020. In a recent development, a special court in Mumbai, designated under the NDPS Act, granted Rhea permission to travel abroad with her family for a brief vacation in Thailand in March this year.
