Erbil, Iraq-based adtech startup Intellect Code, on Thursday announced full acquisition of its shares by Ahmed Gorani, the current CEO of the company. The agreement was signed by Mohamed Emad and Waleed Worya, who were the partners and largest shareholders in the company- agreeing to sell their shares to Gorani.
Founded in 2016, Intellect Code provides offers advertising and marketing solutions backed with data capture and data analysis techniques in the retail sectors and market research in consumer goods.
Speaking of the development, Ahmed Gorani, the CEO of Intellect Code, in a statement said,
“I am very happy with this acquisition, which will lead to the company remaining on the right track to achieve its vision of becoming a leading company in the field of advertising, marketing, and market research. It will work with a higher quality than it was in the past, and I am sure this acquisition will go hand in hand.”
Gorani continued,
“We are happy with this deal, as the company achieved its presence with the companies in the region and achieved profits in the third quarter of the year and is now among the companies that work professionally in the region. I am confident that after this acquisition the company will grow not at the level of Iraq, but at the level of the Gulf state, which will reflect positive results for companies and investors.”
Sharing the vision forward, Gorani shared that the company will form relations with various international companies and provide high-quality services – whilst expanding operations across the Arab Gulf states, employ more resources and create solutions which are in demand.
