UAE Healthtech TruDoc Raises $15M From Al Nahyan and Al-Ketbi Families

The funding round, backed by Abu Dhabi’s Al Nahyan family and the Al-Ketbi family, will help TruDoc expand its virtual-first healthcare and hospital-at-home services across the GCC.

TruDoc Healthcare, a Dubai-based virtual-first healthcare platform, has raised $15 million in a Pre-Series B funding round backed by members of the Al Nahyan and Al-Ketbi families, along with existing investor Pulsar Capital.

The company said the new capital will support expansion of its technology-driven healthcare model across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), particularly its hospital-at-home and telemedicine services.

TruDoc operates a virtual-first care platform that integrates telemedicine, chronic disease management, diagnostics, pharmacy delivery and in-home healthcare services.

The company says its approach aims to deliver continuous healthcare outside traditional hospital settings while reducing hospital admissions and improving treatment adherence for patients.

Dr. Ahmed Mansour, CEO of the Private Department of H.E. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Khaled Al Nahyan, said:

“Healthcare systems everywhere are being asked to do more—serve more people, manage more chronic disease, and deliver better outcomes—without endlessly expanding physical infrastructure. TruDoc represents a fundamentally different approach: one that scales access and efficiency while maintaining clinical integrity.”

The investment reflects rising interest in healthcare models that move beyond hospital-centric systems toward distributed, technology-enabled care that can be delivered at home or remotely.

Vish Narain, Executive Chairman at TruDoc, said the healthcare industry is undergoing structural change.

“For centuries, healthcare has been organised around buildings—patients moving toward facilities, systems optimised for episodic care. That architecture no longer reflects how people live, age, or manage chronic disease.”

TruDoc plans to use the new funding to strengthen its virtual-care infrastructure and expand its at-home critical care programs across markets including the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Asad Khan, CEO of TruDoc, said the company aims to accelerate adoption of high-acuity care delivered outside hospitals.

“The question is no longer whether high-quality care can be delivered outside hospitals—it’s how fast healthcare systems can adapt to that reality.”

Founded in 2011, TruDoc has positioned itself as one of the region’s larger digital health providers, offering telehealth and remote care services to insurers, employers and government healthcare systems across the GCC and other markets.
