Ahmedabad, Gujarat headquartered eSports startup Gamerji on Thursday (16 January) raised $400,000 from La Gajjar Group, an investment firm based in Ahmedabad. The startup will deploy the latest funds to improve and build technology, enhance operations and promotion.
Founded in 2018 by Soham Thacker, Varun Gajjar and Valay Patel, Gamerji comes as an opportunity for gaming enthusiasts in India to leverage the platform and earn money. The platform conducts 18 tournaments every day for the users to compete and win cash prizes. Most of the top-ranking games including PUBG, Clash Royale, and Call of Duty are available on the platform.
The platform has a userbase of 120,000 gamers at present.
