London-based artificial intelligence and robotics firm Humanoid has entered into a strategic partnership with QSS AI & Robotics, Saudi Arabia’s leading robotics and AI company advancing the localization of cutting-edge technologies under Vision 2030.
The collaboration combines Humanoid’s innovation in humanoid robotics with QSS’s deep regional expertise, infrastructure, and strong government partnerships. Together, the two companies aim to accelerate the deployment, local assembly, and adoption of humanoid robots across Saudi Arabia.
Exclusive Partnership to Support Vision 2030 Goals
Under the agreement, QSS AI & Robotics will serve as Humanoid’s exclusive commercial, distribution, and localization partner in Saudi Arabia. The focus will be on deploying and supporting Humanoid’s robotic solutions across manufacturing, logistics, retail, and infrastructure sectors, aligning closely with the Kingdom’s digital transformation initiatives under Vision 2030.

As part of the partnership, Humanoid and QSS will co-develop a localized market-entry strategy to ensure sustainable growth and integration of advanced humanoid robotics within Saudi industries.

Local Manufacturing and Innovation Hub in Riyadh
The collaboration will leverage QSS’s state-of-the-art Robotics Factory in Riyadh – the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia – to explore localized assembly, customization, and maintenance for Humanoid’s product line. This initiative is expected to reduce operational costs, enhance supply chain resilience, and accelerate market delivery across the region.
Additionally, both companies have agreed to a non-binding pre-order framework of up to 10,000 humanoid units for Saudi clients over the next five years, marking one of the largest potential humanoid robot deployments in the Middle East.
“Saudi Arabia represents one of the most forward-looking markets in the world when it comes to innovation,” said Artem Sokolov, founder of Humanoid. “This partnership is our first step into the MENA region, a market with immense potential for large-scale adoption of humanoid robots. Together with QSS, we aim to bring humanoid robotics from concept to reality, driving efficiency, safety, and progress across industries.”
Introducing the ‘Humanoid Lounge’ Experience Centre
To promote innovation and public engagement, Humanoid and QSS plan to open a flagship “Humanoid Lounge” in Riyadh — a co-branded experience centre designed to showcase the latest humanoid platforms.
The space will feature live demonstrations, educational sessions, and immersive experiences, serving as a hub for collaboration between industry leaders, educators, and innovators driving the future of robotics in Saudi Arabia.
“This partnership reinforces our mission to localize global technology within Saudi Arabia,” said Dr. Elie Metri, CEO of QSS AI & Robotics. “By combining Humanoid’s world-class engineering with our local manufacturing capabilities, ecosystem, and government alignment, we’re paving the way for a new era of humanoid robotics made, developed, and deployed from the heart of Saudi Arabia.”
Saudi Arabia Emerges as a Regional Powerhouse for Technological Innovation
Saudi Arabia is rapidly emerging as a global technology hub under the umbrella of Saudi Vision 2030, leveraging massive investments in digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and smart-city ecosystems. With the ICT sector now the largest and fastest-growing in the MENA region, internet penetration at nearly 99 % and 5G coverage expanding at pace, the Kingdom is shifting from oil-dependency to a knowledge-based economy.
Government bodies such as the Saudi Data & AI Authority are accelerating AI adoption across industries, from manufacturing and logistics to education – targeting a contribution of up to $135 billion to GDP by 2030, according to a PWC report.
Through localisation of emerging technologies, development of special economic zones, and strategic partnerships, Saudi Arabia is positioning itself as a leader in innovation and a regional powerhouse for advanced robotics, digital services and sustainable growth.
