Reboot Coding Institute (Reboot01), Bahrain’s Ministry of Labour-accredited tech institute and talent accelerator, has successfully concluded its participation in the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference & Exhibition (AICS) 2025, held on November 5–6 in Manama.
Now in its second consecutive year at AICS, Reboot01 has trained more than 400 Bahraini university and high school students in cybersecurity, marking a significant step in advancing the Kingdom’s digital resilience and tech capabilities.
This year’s edition of AICS featured two exclusive, hands-on cybersecurity training modules designed by Reboot01 to simulate real-world defense scenarios:
- AI Security Challenge: Introduced participants to prompt engineering techniques to fortify AI systems against malicious attacks. Working in teams, participants were then challenged to outsmart each other’s AI models by identifying vulnerabilities and strengthening their systems in real time.
- Cloud DevOps Rescue Mission: Simulated a live cloud crisis on AWS, requiring participants to restore critical systems, resolve performance issues, patch vulnerabilities, and stabilize heavily loaded services under real-time pressure.
Together, these exercises provided an immersive learning experience that combined logic, creativity, teamwork, and technical skill, empowering young Bahrainis to tackle evolving digital threats.
Commenting on the participation, Yanal Jallad, Managing Director of Reboot Coding Institute, said, “At Reboot, our commitment extends beyond teaching programming, it’s about building expertise. Cybersecurity now drives every digital interaction and economic activity, and the need for skilled professionals has never been greater. Our participation at AICS reflects our investment in empowering Bahrain’s youth with hands-on, industry-relevant training that builds confidence and sparks genuine interest in pursuing careers in technology and cybersecurity.”
The AICS 2025 trainings form part of Reboot01’s broader initiatives to strengthen Bahrain’s technology ecosystem. Earlier this year, the institute led several national tech programs, including:
- The Zain Bahrain AI Hackathon (October 2025) – built, organized, and mentored entirely by Reboot01.
- The National Cybersecurity Challenge: Capture The Flag (July 2025).
- The Build Hackathon (September 2025).
- The AI First Training Program at Youth City (August 2025).
Reboot’s talents have also excelled at StartUp Bahrain Weekends, securing top placements across multiple categories.
Supported by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), Reboot01 continues to serve as a cornerstone of Bahrain’s digital talent ecosystem – producing over 300 full-stack developers annually. Its graduates now work at leading organizations including Raincode, JP Morgan, ila Bank, Al Salam Bank, KPMG’s AI Department, Array Innovation, Flooss, and Tanami. To date, 100% of Reboot01 graduates have secured full-time employment.
Applications for Reboot01’s next cohort open January 11, 2026, welcoming aspiring developers from all backgrounds to begin their journey into Bahrain’s fast-growing tech industry.
