Saudi-based Trteeb.co, an online marketplace with the biggest pool of tailors to make the thobe buying and stitching experience easier, faster, trackable and transparent, today announced the launch of its new app for iOS and Android mobile devices. The trendy new app will help customers maintain social distancing and enable them to provide details to tailor bespoke thobes to fit their size perfectly.

The new user-friendly app once installed on the mobile smartphone guides every customer to record his measurements with ease, choose the type of fabric, the style of cufflinks, their favorite tailor, make payment and have their stitched thobes delivered at their doorstep.

Commenting on the launch of the new app, Sultan Baysoni, CEO of Trteeb.co in a statement said,

“We are delighted to launch our new app which is a market-fit that will transform the tailoring industry in the current day situation. With the onset of COVID-19, lockdown announcements globally and in Saudi Arabia, particularly, brought our business to almost a standstill. It was then that the 500 Falcons team advised us to develop our product as an app that would help solve the challenge and adapt to the new normal. The team quickly started work on the app,”

Sharing his gratitude towards the team, Baysoni further added,

“Today, we are very proud of our achievement. I would like to thank my team for the dedication and hard work in coordinating the development of this new product. We have carefully considered every element that will make the customer journey seamless and easy. From measurements to fabric to payment to delivery we want our customer to have their thobes that perfectly fit them, delivered easily and quickly at the comfort of their homes or offices,”

“By introducing this tool, Trteeb.co takes the lead in Fashion-tech and we are confident that we will be able to deliver an enhanced customer experience which is easier, faster and efficient on their smartphones. We have plans to further enhance our product and are eagerly looking forward to its launch in the near future,”

Customers can now place their orders by downloading the app on their mobile phones. To assist the customer to provide the right measurements there are a few cool and quick videos that will teach them how to record the measurements. For those who do not want to go through this process, are free to just pop the perfect thobe in a bag and inform the Trteeb.co team, who will pick it up and deliver it to the tailor of their choice to take the required measurements.

Trteeb.co is well connected and has a pool of highly skilled tailors. Each customer can view the location map of Riyadh on the app to choose his favorite tailor. Besides, the app provides the tailor with a dashboard which displays orders, the log measurements and status of the order. The dashboard also has several other features that will help them run more efficient tailor shops while hopping on the e-commerce bandwagon with zero investment.

Trteeb.co was founded by Sultan Basyoni in 2019 to cater to the tailoring needs for thobes in Riyadh. Previously Trteeb.co customers just had to fill in a form and submit their orders on their website. The rest of the operations such as measurements, fabric picking, delivery and logistics were all done manually. Thus, it was a huge challenge to transition to an e-commerce website.

Trteeb.co was one of the companies which were hand-picked to participate in Misk500 Accelerator program Batch 2 held in Riyadh. This program was managed by 500 Startups in partnership with Misk Innovation to support and empower startups in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region.

A couple of weeks back, Thobi, another Saudi-based platform offering tailored thobes, has $650K from ABN Ventures.
