According to a LinkedIn post rolled out lately by one of the former employees of Deviation Games named Michael Anthony, a number of former employees of California-based Deviation Games have set up their studio at Sony.
“Hey, I hear that a lot of previous Deviation Games employees have setup their own studio at Sony working on an undisclosed new IP.”
“All the people I see working there that have signed up are top class developers and hope that you can create a top class new IP with your studio that hopefully gives you all the time you need to create a quality product and not have to deal with red tape from previous projects.”

“Best wishes, expecially if JB, AR, FT, MG, JS, KS and JC is involved.”
It is worth noting that Deviation Games witnessed around 90 layoffs last year in May. Founded in 2020 by Jason Blundell and Dave Anthony, who were known for their work on the renowned Call of Duty franchise, Deviation Games announced its shutdown in March this year.
One of the former employees of Deviation Games named JC Farmer in December posted an update on Twitter in which he shared that he is working as a junior game designer at PlayStation Studios. Farmer also mentioned that he works under Jason Blundell – disclosing that Blundell himself is also working for PlayStation Studios.
JOB UPDATE!
I've been wanting to say this for a while, but now I finally can! 😊
Deviation Games was working on a new IP for PlayStation, as announced at Summer Game Fest in 2021. Blundell left the studio in September 2022, with Anthony continuing to lead the studio as CEO and game director.
