STARZPLAY to unveil the third episode of its first Arabic original series ‘Kaboos’

Dubai-based video-on-demand platform STARZPLAY is releasing the third episode of its runaway hit horror anthology “Kaboos” on 16 February.

STARZPLAY, ranked consistently among the region’s top three subscription video-on-demand services, is releasing the third episode of its runaway hit horror anthology “Kaboos” on 16 February, exclusively on STARZPLAY.

Set in the UAE, episode three, “Al Ghaf Tree” begins when a journalist named Rashed starts to investigate a series of strange disappearance cases, one of which was the case of a young boy who vanished under unusual circumstances. The questioning journalist begins collecting leads that take him to a location of a mysterious tree. The episode stars Abdullah Saeed Bin Haider, joined by guest star Mansoor Al Feeli and directed by Ahmed Khaled.

The first two episodes of the binge-worthy horror show were released on 9 February, right after they debuted at an exclusive screening event that took place in Cinema Akil at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai. Episodes one and two have immediately smashed viewership records across MENA, becoming the number-one show on the STARZPLAY platform within 48 hours of its release.

Filmed across the UAE and Egypt, and the horror anthology series is produced by Yasir Al Yasiri’s and Mansoor Al Feeli’s production company, Starship Entertainment, and developed in partnership between STARZPLAY and Image Nation.
