US Army Veteran Suspected in Deadly Tesla Cybertruck Blast Outside Trump Hotel

37-year-old Matthew Livelsberger, a US Army veteran, has been named as the suspect behind the explosion of Tesla Cybertruck outside Trump Hotel in Las Vegas.

A suspect has been identified in connection with the Tesla Cybertruck explosion outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. According to reports, 37-year-old Matthew Livelsberger, a US Army veteran, has been named as the suspect. The explosion occurred right outside the hotel’s front gate, resulting in one fatality and at least seven injuries.

Livelsberger allegedly rented the pickup truck in Colorado before driving it to Las Vegas, where he cruised up and down the strip before stopping outside the Trump hotel.

The FBI has launched an investigation to determine if there is a connection between the recent explosion in Las Vegas and the violent rampage in New Orleans. In the New Orleans incident, a truck plowed into a crowd before the perpetrator opened fire, resulting in the deaths of 15 people. The suspect, identified as 42-year-old Shamsud Din-Jabbar, is a US Army veteran who served in Afghanistan from 2009 to 2010.

As part of the investigation, authorities have discovered that both vehicles involved in the New Orleans and Las Vegas incidents were rented through Turo, a car-renting company. This has raised questions about a potential link between the two events, and the FBI is working to determine if there is a connection between the suspects or their motivations.

According to reports, the Cybertruck contained a hazardous combination of fireworks, gas tanks, and camp fuel, which, when paired with the electric vehicle, led to the detonation. The resulting explosion left at least seven people injured, sparking a thorough investigation into the incident.

Police have released footage showing the remnants of charred gasoline canisters and firework mortars in the bed of the burned-out Cybertruck. This revelation comes as Tesla founder Elon Musk condemned the explosion outside the Trump Hotel as an “act of terrorism”. Musk highlighted the Cybertruck’s design, which he believes minimized the blast’s impact, thereby preventing significant damage to the hotel.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk reacted to the explosion involving one of his company’s vehicles, saying “The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack. Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards. Not even the glass doors of the lobby were broken,” in a post on X.
