In context to his book ‘The Stalker’, we’ve come up with the following questions to create absolute relevancy for the audience.

So here is how it goes like…

Laffaz: How and when you decided to write your first book?

It was my father’s dream. I have seen him writing in his diary but never actually got the chance to read it. He is still very secretive about it. Maybe the transfer of genes could have been the reason of this interest that soon turned out to be my passion. I started writing at the age of 15.

Laffaz: What is the genre of The Stalker Please provide the quick synopsis.

Randhir Kamat, a name famous for his regular mentions on page 3, was being stalked on social media by a girl named Deepali. He took it casually and enjoyed the attention from media but soon things went to become ugly when his girlfriend, Rupali, started receiving death threats. Keeping everything on stake, Randhir chose to involve police to catch the Stalker. Inspector Suraj, started digging in and soon found that ‘Here everyone’s a liar’.
Whom to trust?
Whom to blame?
There were no answers, just one question. How far will you go for the sake of your dream?

Laffaz: How did you get the idea of writing The Stalker?

I got inspired from an incident that actually occurred with someone. I read the article on internet and that article was written in such a thrilling manner that once I finished reading it, I decided to write a book on the subject and then The Stalker shaped out. Interestingly, the final product is way too different from the article that I actually read.

Laffaz: Who should read the book or who are the target readers?

Anyone, above the age of 13 years, who loves reading thrillers, can pick this book. I generally try to write short books, so you can expect a quick, thrilling ride of lies and deceits out of The Stalker.

Laffaz: What value does The Stalker create or what are the takeaways for the readers?

That is a very heavy question to answer. On the surface level, my books generally have nothing that could leave a lasting effect on the reader but if you go deeper and try to understand the psychology of the characters that I have written, you’ll surely see something valuable, something precious that is hidden inside their souls. I leave it on the readers to reach to that level and extract that hidden gem.

Laffaz: What do you like most about The Stalker? Is there something exceptional?

For every author, their books are exceptional and the same goes with me as well. The most special thing about the book, according to me is the tagline itself that ‘Here, Everyone is a liar.’

Laffaz: What do you like least about The Stalker?

My book is like my child. So, I guess you got the answer.

Laffaz: Suppose you are making a movie based on The Stalker, who will you cast and why?

Well, let me tell you a secret here. We are in talks with various production houses at the moment and soon it will get adapted as a web-series. We’ll discuss about the cast for it pretty soon.

Thank you!

Over to you…
