India’s e-commerce giant ShopClues has recently announced that the company has opened its doors to offer all required essentials amid the countrywide coronavirus lockdown ‘Janta Curfew’, particularly grocery items, medicines, sanitizers, masks, packaged foods and everything in between.
On similar lines Sanjay Sethi, CEO of ShopClues said,
“We want people to stop panicking and have access to these items. Please stay indoors. Stay safe and let us reach you,”
As a result of the countrywide lockdown announced by the prime minister Narendra Modi, warehouses across the country went inoperational due to which the online grocery marketplaces including BigBasket, Grofers, SuprDaily, Milkbasket and many others are also witnessing big demand of the daily essentials. India’s e-commerce giant Flipkart has also reportedly resumed its grocery vertical called Supermart.
