BFT Media (BFT) and Andra Public Relations have signed a strategic partnership to launch the BFT Retail & Investment Summit (BRIS) 2027, a regional platform built to strengthen investment culture and empower retail investors across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The one-day summit is scheduled for 18 March 2027 at Exhibition World Bahrain in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the organisers said. It will bring together retail investors, financial institutions, fintech platforms, wealth managers, family offices, regulators and policymakers for a programme centred on financial knowledge, access and informed participation in capital markets.
The partnership arrives at a significant point in the evolution of retail investing, across the GCC and globally. A growing number of individuals are moving into equities, bonds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), foreign exchange, cryptocurrency and other digital assets, broadening participation in regional and global markets.
As access to investment opportunities widens, so does the need for credible financial information and practical education, along with stronger connections between investors and the institutions shaping the market. BRIS 2027 was developed in response, giving retail investors a dedicated platform to build their knowledge, engage directly with industry experts and better understand both the opportunities and the responsibilities that come with investing.
Commenting on the development, A BFT Media representative said,
“Retail investing across the GCC is changing rapidly. People have greater access to markets, platforms and asset classes than ever before, but access alone does not create confident or informed investors. BRIS 2027 is about helping close that gap by bringing our audience into direct conversation with the institutions, experts and regulators shaping the future of investment in the region.”
Each partner brings distinct strengths to the summit. BFT offers its reach as what it describes as Bahrain’s most-followed digital business platform, along with a focus on making financial information more accessible and understandable. Andra PR contributes its experience and network across Bahrain’s fintech and financial services ecosystem.
Fatema, CEO and founder of Andra PR, said,
“Andra PR was founded after recognising a clear gap in the market for communications expertise dedicated to Bahrain’s growing fintech and financial services sector. Since then, we have grown alongside that ecosystem and seen first-hand how quickly it continues to evolve. BRIS 2027 is a natural extension of that journey, creating a platform that brings the industry and its investors closer together and supports more informed participation in the market.”
The programme will feature keynote presentations, expert panels, debates and fireside conversations. Dedicated exhibition areas will host banks, fintechs, investment platforms, family offices and digital-asset providers, and industry experts will have a space to share their expertise and showcase relevant solutions while helping investors understand the options and opportunities open to them.
Through the summit, BFT and Andra PR aim to support greater financial literacy and investor confidence, while reinforcing the Kingdom’s position as a regional hub for financial innovation and inclusion, and for the next generation of retail investment.
BFT is a Bahrain-based financial media platform registered with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Kingdom of Bahrain. It publishes financial news, market updates, interviews, and educational content, and describes its mission as making financial information more accessible and understandable so that individuals can become more financially aware and confident in their investment decisions.
Established in 2019, Andra PR has built extensive experience across Bahrain’s fintech and financial services ecosystem, working with financial institutions, fintech companies, government entities, industry platforms, and other key stakeholders. Through BRIS 2027, it brings its industry knowledge and network, along with strategic communications expertise, to the summit’s objective of connecting retail investors with financial expertise and investment opportunities, alongside practical knowledge.
