First 2 Indians who received 10-year Residency in Dubai-Laffaz

Dubai: Back in January, the government granted the first batch of long-term visas to 20 scientists who were the winners and finalists of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Medal for Scientific Excellence.

And now, Vasudev Shroff and Khushi Khatwani are the two Indian businessmen who have got 10-year visa in Dubai. They are the first Indians in the whole UAE to enjoy this privilege.

Vasudev is the chairman of the Regal Group and Khushi is the head of the Khushi Group of Companies.

Shroff told Khaleej Times that he was called by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) and informed about the decision.

“I received my visa within five minutes after making a payment of Dhs1,350,”
