Infosys Foundation commits INR 100 Cr for Covid-19 relief

Infosys Foundation, CSR arm of Infosys is deploying a total of INR 100 crore ($13.2 million) for Coronavirus relief

Infosys Foundation, The corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Infosys over the last couple of weeks revealed its plans about creation of support amid the Coronavirus outbreak. The foundation is deploying a total of INR 100 crore ($13.2 million), half of it will go towards PM CARES Fund and the rest towards an exclusive hospital in Bengaluru for Covid-19 patients, and also for enabling better access to food for unprivileged sections of the society.

The contribution will help expand the hospital’s capacity in terms of treatment, equipment, essentials, and evidently enable hospital stays for Covid-19 patients across India, especially of the weaker sections of the society.
