Annex Investments and Venture Central hosted #BrandFusionSMX Sales & Marketing Experiences on 27 Nov with the SME Community in attendance at The Co-Dubai, Saaha Offices, Souk Al Bahar. The event was the celebration of the 8th #BrandFusion B2B Entrepreneurship series.
The anticipated event opened with an insightful plenary speech by Mr. Cinar Kurra, CEO of Catalyst, a Masdar-BP initiative, startup technology accelerator based in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi. With a clear vision to help build a robust startup ecosystem focused on sustainability in Abu Dhabi. Ms. Namrata Balwani, Marketing & Customer Experience Consultant delivered a strong message in her keynote empowering the next generation of marketers and laying emphasis over the importance of customer experience.
Mr. Khaled Ghorab, Business Coach GCC & South India “The Relationship Architect” at Asentiv never fails to keep his audience on their toes as he delivers an equally interesting presentation addressing the entrepreneurs with the positive impact of building relationship strategies on the businesses.
‘How your branding and marketing initiative drive sales’? asked Ms. Charlotte Anthonissen of Igloo Digital Agency to address the current and relevant issues to the audience composed of business owners, founders and entrepreneurs. She highlighted a few case studies showing success in sales through marketing personalization and customer experience that leaves a lasting impression on the customers.
Cyber Security and Influence marketing through social media advocates Mr. Geir Christian Karlsen of AppsCo – an international company providing a portal for enterprises to manage access to applications and services for employees and clients. Mr. Kevin Czok, Co-founder of HDC stressed on the importance of controlling descriptive content with automated distribution. In this edition, Annex Investments partnered with V7 Group under the leadership of Mr. Yousef Hamza, advisor to nearly 3500 entrepreneurs. He inaugurated the ‘Positive Impact Challenge‘, an elevator pitch competition for startups that aims to incubate and accelerate innovative startup ideas in the areas of Environment, Sustainability, Innovation, Smart City and Digital Health. In his speech, Mr. Yousef Hamza encouraged startups and entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to V7 Group as it is dedicated to helping startups and SMEs by providing top-notch services in strategy, legal procedures and seed funding. Elevator pitch was hosted simultaneously in the event – definitely one of the highlights of the event.

In this edition of #BrandFusion B2B Entrepreneurship Series, Annex Investments and Venture Central partnered with RootsDxb to host the #BrandFusionConnect business-networking segment at The Galliard Brasserie, The Address Downtown. A turn of more than 300 business professionals attended the event making it a resounding success and a very effective wrap-up of the evening of festivities.
