SuperYou’s inaugural product is India’s first protein wafer bars, which come in four mouth-watering flavors: chocolate, choco-peanut butter, strawberry crème, and cheese.

The investment in SuperYou is focused on making protein-rich products more affordable and accessible to a broader Indian demographic. Co-founded by Ranveer Singh and Nikunj Biyani, the brand has received investment from Singh and Think9, with plans to scale the business and achieve ₹40-50 crore in revenue within the next 18-24 months, and ultimately reaching ₹500 crore in revenue over the next five years.

As the driving force behind SuperYou, Ranveer Singh revealed his long-standing passion for fitness as the catalyst for the brand’s creation. “I’ve been a fitness enthusiast my entire life and wanted to convert this passion into something larger that I can share with everyone,” he said. Singh further emphasized the importance of protein in one’s diet, stating, “I truly believe that protein is an essential macronutrient for everybody, and with our busy lifestyle, we struggle to get the required quantity. That’s why I wanted to create something that makes protein consumption simple, affordable, and effective.”

Launched in 2024 by co-founders Ranveer Singh and Nikunj Biyani, SuperYou is poised to revolutionize the protein industry through its pioneering use of fermented yeast protein technology. The brand’s overarching mission is to offer protein-rich products that cater to a broad audience, extending beyond fitness enthusiasts to anyone seeking a healthier lifestyle. As Biyani noted, “Ranveer Singh embodies the idea of living life to its fullest—that’s what SuperYou is all about.”

Ranveer Singh’s investment in SuperYou is part of a growing trend where Bollywood celebrities are actively investing in companies, often leveraging their minority stakes as endorsement opportunities. Singh’s diverse investment portfolio includes notable brands like Sugar Cosmetics, BoAt, and Bold Care. He joins a list of influential investors, including Alia Bhatt, who backed SuperBottoms, Sachin Tendulkar, who funded Spinny, MS Dhoni, who invested in Shaka Harry and Khatabook, and Virat Kohli who has invested in a number of brands and startups including Mobile Premier League (MPL), Digit, Wrogn, Universal Sportsbiz, and Hyperice among others.

SuperYou is gearing up to make a significant impact in the packaged food industry, with ambitious plans to diversify its product range into categories such as biscuits, protein powders, and breakfast cereals. As part of its expansion strategy, SuperYou will soon be available on prominent e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, as well as in stores across 10 cities.
